About us
Halifax Metals are a local, family run business based on Shay Lane in Halifax.
We specialise in the purchase of ferrous and non ferrous metals, including Copper, Lead, Alumininum, Brass, Stainless steel, Cable & batteries

We are buyers of end of life vehicles and registered with the DVLA.
We offer free skips for businesses for scrap metal.
Pete Tallis bought Halifax metals in 2004 to go alongside his waste disposal business Halifax Trailer waste which he started over 40 years ago.

After a successful few years he moved the business to a new yard on Shay Lane in 2009.​

Sadly, Pete passed away in 2013 but his family have continued to successfully run and grow the business in his memory.
